Benefits:
* Based on my server and owned by CincyPaylakes, NOT proboards.
* Way more customizable with many more modifications available
* WAY more visually appealing. Think of the new forum as a Porche and this as a Ford Pinto. After working on the new forum, I can barely stand to look at this one!
* The ability to upload files to the CincyPaylakes server. You will be able to add pictures to your post without using imageshack or photobucket or any other third party file hosting service. You can upload pictures directly to your post, from your computer, without leaving the forum!
* Easier account activation. No more copy/paste of activation codes. Its a simple one click from the activation email.
* More profile options. Have your home lake, first name, etc show on your profile and when you post. These profile options are limitless.
* Ad Free! No more scrolling ads at the top of the forum.
* Direct URL. The web address will work directly off of the homepage.
* View unread posts. You can log in, click one button, and see all of the new posts from the forum since your last visit.
* Forum Jump. Pull down forum selection. Jump from one forum to another without going to the index and clicking.
* Thread subscription and tread bookmarking. You can easily keep track of responses to treads that fancy your interest.
* Easy Learning Curve. Navigation is very similar to the current board.
* Better moderation options. Moderators are able to merge threads, copy threads, and do many things common on most message boards.
* Display of sub-forums on forum index. Sub-forums (like the lakes listed in 'Paylakes A-M and Paylakes N-Z) will display, and can be accessed from the first page of the forum.
