what is the deal with Monroe? That lake is either always for sell or someone else is taking it over. Ive been out there 3 time this yr. so far and it is always a full house by 7 or 8 in the evening. Its not like there not making money. Kinda strang if you ask me..HUH

if some one else buys it i hope they get rid of most of the carp, or at least move them to the smaller lake

you would have to be stupid to pay that for that lake. harding only gave 430,000 for less than 2 years ago and the only thing they have done to the lake is redo the shelters. they want more for it than what it has sold for the last 2 times it was sold. jim paid $330,000 for it in 1997 or 99 harding paid $430,000 in 2006. they have that lake priced for a delevoper that would be the only way they will get that price .

most of the money that lake makes is from carp fisherman thats why they'll put in 1 load a year of cats 500 or 600 lbs but theyll stock carp 3 or 4 times a year and put in 2 or 3 thousand lbs.they cater to the carp fisherman.it's not a cat lake,it used to be about 10 years before jim took it over jim started the carp thing.

Ok i just got a e-mail from them at the lake, they said in the e-mail that you get 12+ acres all the invot.. that they have in stock at time of sale, golf cart, lake of course, bait shop,( well here is what they said if it works), Yes, the lake is up for sale, the asking price is $699,000 and that includes the property (12+ acres) the baithouse and tackle shop business, all of the inventory that is in stock at the time of the sale, the golf cart, all of the equipment such as bait tanks, kitchen equipment, appliances etc. Sorry but that is a crazy price for that place, i know they have put in alot of fish BUT NO WAY. Thats just my opinion..
