IF YOU GO TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE DAM WHERE THE WATER COMES OUT YOU CAN SLAUGHTER SMALL MOUTHS! THERE ARE ALSO GOOD CATS IN THERE! ANYWHERE IN THE RIVER NEAR THAT DAM YOU CAN SLAUGHTER THEM! thats the spillway and i get bait there for the last 5 years or so,and ive never caught a catfish there......Ive seen just about every type of fish that swims caught outta there except a catfish..Not even a yellow belly lol......i dunno man ive been there a thousand times never seen one......

i know there is, i saw a guy get one, we where out in my boat fishing for crappie by the pump house strait across from the beach area and the guy pulled right up about 50yrds from use and tarted fishing and he wasnt there but about 10 mins. and staged into it and it took him i bet 30 min. to get it in on that lite outfit. (crappie) it was a wild looking fish forsure. it was prob. about 3ft long, counting the bill on it. about 20lbs i guess.

I will be trying ceasars creek.. I know a pretty good spot that I am going to try soon... if it does well, I will describe where it is.. and I know out by Haines boat dock used to be GREAT for channel cat, but have also been told that the channel is filled in with dirt and is to shallow most of the year to even get your boat in the water.. I will be checking this out as well..

Chris, I think we may have seen you.. I was on the bank in that big cove.. saw two boats come in there, one was fishing for saugeye, and another one that I didnt get a chance to talk to, thinking that was you? I fished for about 7 hours and not a run.. then had some problems with the reels so I cast about 50 times after fixing it then packed up and left.. that bank I was on has a steep drop off.. I was maybe 15 foot out and set at 40 foot and still wasnt at bottom.
