This lake used to be great in the early summer for catching small cats for stocking but that was about all .

buddy of mine swears of that lake, but me i have no confidence in it. mainly owner not to much a friendly kinda guy.

same experience with ignorance, but when i fished it i caught 2 shovels they were mall though

i won the yearly last year with a 60 lb blue.. good lake i always catch some fish.

yes he is an oddball character. you almost have to feel like you are going through airport security to fish his lake. but hey its his lake. but i can say thisi know people that go there and catch fish all night long they may be dinks. but they are catching them.

i have only been twice and all i caught was dinks only 3 fish weighed over 20 pounds but out of the 2 trips i caught about 30f ish

EVERYTIME I GO TO BUTLER I ALWAYS CATCH FISH THE AVERAGE SEEMS TO BE ABOUT 10 POUNDS BUT IT IS GREAT WHEN YOU TAKE KIDS OR YOU TAKE SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO GET INTO CAT FISHING OR JUST FISHING IN GENERAL. THERE IS ALWAYS A LOT OF ACTION EVERYTIME I GO. I ONLY LIVE 3 MILES FROM IT AND TEND TO GO ONCE A WEEK NOW THAT I MOVED INTO THE MASON AREA. SOMETIMES THE OWNER DOES GIVE PEOPLE A HARD TIME, BUT YOU CAN LOOK AT IT THIS WAY. ITS REALLY CLEAN EVERYTIME I GO THERE ARE NO OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE AND THE GUY THAT COMES IN AT 9 IS A PRETTY COOL DUDE. IF YOU DONT KNOW HIM, HE IS A SARCASTIC DUDE DONT LET IT BUG YAH HES JUST KIDDING.

i fished there the other night, we caught about 6 shovels, but all small. biggest was maybe 12 lbs.
