Ok heres the deal, yesterday I drove by and saw a sign that said "lake now open" and for the past week have seen dozens of people fishin' there so curiousity got me and I stopped in. As I walked up the ramp a fella asked me if he could help me and I inquired about the fishin'...... so heres the deal big opening this weekend the cost is $10.00 for adults $5.00 for kids , it is a Christian paylake ....NO drinkin' NO smokin' NO cursin' NO loud music , if you wanna smoke you gotta go to your car, when asked about stocking he said the lake hadnt been fished in years and he wants to get the place fished for a while so he knows whats in it before he starts stocking. Personally he seemed like a nice enough fella but not to keen on lake mgmt. This place may turn out to be a good place one day but according to the latest catch report from him it would be a ten dollar fee to go catch some bait , and I cant say it would be worth it. They have big plans for this place such as a child and senior day care facility and reopen the puttputt golf and add stables and horse riding to the facility and eventually build a temple or church on the prremises and theyr'e changing the name to lake glory obviously for glory to thr Lord. Then he started in on me about God bringing me to him at that time and place apparently he was a deacon of the church. And started offering me a place and/or position there with dealing with the lake..........And for all to know I have nothing against God or athiests, I am a Christian man myself, nothing against this place or people or their beliefs I was just a little freaked out by this fella and to each his own , I am not here to judge another all I can say is check it out for yourself and go with your own thoughts and feelings. Peace

Praise the lord and pass the ammo , i'm even used to bein around zealots and this fella made me feel a little uncomfortable. They prolly do got some monsters still lurkin in there even though i live about 5 minutes from there i think i'll pay the gas and higher entrance fee to a good paylake where i can sit back and smoke my cig and have a better chance at gettin a biggun'. If i wanna hear preachin' i'll go to church not a paylake! I wish them the best of luck God bless them and I hope they make it , I just think i'll stay away till they get their stuff straight.

I approached the manager of Lake Glory and was told it's ten dollars to fish with two poles and anymore over two poles is 5 dollars extra per pole.
It's 5 dollars per child.

I can't picture them stayin open that long if you can't do anything there...we stopped by the other day and the people told us that they stocked it so I guess they're already lyin or somethin to get business...don't bother me none though cause I don't think I could stand bein there with all them rules...and I can only imagine the kind of people that they will bring in...
