hold on, for you people that think im drunk all the time ....... I meant that catfishermans paradise was the first paylake anywhere, to have big fish like it did .... Im sure every paylake owner wished their lake could of been like that...... James set the standard of big fish lakes all over the us.... It took years for anybody to even come close to having a lake of that caliber ... Cp1 will go down as one of the best lakes of all times....

I agree that cp1 was to first real monster paylake atleast that i ever heard of. and when cp2 opened it got a lot of hipe but the world is full of places and people that use to be realy special in a certain time and space but every thing has to change things get bigger and better all the time and not nesisary always for the best . a lake is only as good as its owners allow it to be it is up to them to control what fish go in and who goes in and fishes and if the owner would sooner be someones buddy ,drinking buddy , friend or what ever else then the lake will suffer it is first and formost a business and if you run it like a business and have what people want and make it a place where you can go take your buddys, wife , children, and have a good time and never worry if theres going to be any trouble its a good lake if you close the door and let it run itself at night there going to be trouble sooner or later i hope that cp3 turns out to be a great lake but it will take someone to run it that gives a crap.

catdaddy your a joke ! cp1 was the first big fish lake, but the torch was past to HICKORY GROVE 5 yrs ago. Since then james has never even came close with his big fish. Thats why he started stocking thousands of lbs of dinks because he no longer could get the big fish. Even when he did get them they 're weren't even close to as many caught at cp1 as there was at Hickory. cp2 will never even be close. What ever James is paying you to put these ridiculous post on here, it is money well spent. Last I counted Hickory had 18 fish over 70 caught this year. Thats more than every other paylake in the state has even stocked. So come back to reality. cp1 has sold and is long gone. cp2 is - well it's a really good place for you.

everyone just has there own way and lakes they like to fish, i dont understand why other people talk bad about the way others fish and where they fish, some people dont want to drive 2-4 hrs to catch a fish. When i started to fish for the big ones i was arounf 15 and i am now going on 40 and back then everyone was doing good if and when they caught a 30-40lb fish, it dont matter to me how big or how many i catch it as long as i have fun doing it and i do catch a fish.

im in on that bet, myself havent caught anything bigger then a 53 BUT i have caught i would say prob. close if not at or over 1000 shovell's and blue's, but like i said i havent caught anything or the 53lb mark but i dont need to too have a good time, i will take 15-20 fish from 15-35lb over 1 fish at 65 or 70 lbs any night, but that just me. ive been fish and catching these fish before alot of these youngen's on here have been alive. BUt like some one said everyone has there own opinion. Ive been keeping a photo alb. of the fish ive caught for the past 10yrs. and ive got prob. 30 of them full as of now, i still got about 17 to add to them from this yr. But i dont get to go out like a few others on here ive got family and house payment and car payments, so all that come before fishing does. Good Fishing to all.
