yeah real nice lake, im getting ready to head out there here in just a few. got to get to the pond and get some gills then im heading out for prob. a 24hr. trip.

Thank you to Mark and Lisa for having The FISH LADY out on Thursday to see their lastest fish drop , they put really nice shovelheads in most weighing in over 20# and alot close to 50# then they put in several hundred #s of FARM Raised Channel about 2 - 4 # each, they were healthy and clean looking so take a grill and fish for a dinner of catfish while you fish for those shovels , I am told farm raised is the best eating ! I have a clip with the fish drop there is a special fish in it too see the clip to see it ! then I have a clip of the bait house and of the lake which is 5 acres. I really like this lake , it was a pay lake off and on for over 30 yrs stocked everytime it opened so Springwater had big shovelheads laying in wait for you as well as the new fish Mark puts in for you. This lake is a up and coming Lake be sure to check it out , I say you will not regret it. Open on Tues evenings for $8 and then 7 am fridays to midnight on Sunday limited hours this year as its their 1st year , if you call them they will tell you if they are hitting or not , Mark and Lisa are good people who love fishing. geezer-- couple in the 40's. many in the mid-upper thirties. we only noticed about 3 fish under
20lb. channels were all the best "eating" size. we tagged a small albino channel cat
( for the kids) to win a free springwater t-shirt.
fish lady- thanks for EVERYTHING!!! we loved havin you out and hope to see you again soon!!
p.s. --- kingact finnaly got the "springwater monkey" off his back and got a couple last night!!

yeah got 2 shovels, was going to fish 24 but been at it all wk. and i was tired and ready to hit the couch and not move and thats what i did, didnt get up till like around 2 today and been busy all day. see again soon. Thanks again for a great night of fishing Mark and Lisa.

kingcat-- was great seein ya!!!!
biggest of weekend was a 38lb shovel. "katdaddyberg"'s little brother got his 1st
shovel sunday night (19lbs). "billy" got a 36lb shovel. and a few mmore caught in the teens.
----- slipbobberdave lost a "HUGE" one sunday night also!!!! (( our 40 & over pot appreciated
that!!!!!!! )) j/k.

Yeah That would have been nice to catch. I was slow to the punch and got to worried I was going to miss it. That fish wont bite again for at least a few weeks lol. I cant get over that. got to love it when a fish stops you right in your tracks when you go to set the hook. I will be out soon again with or without katdaddyberg. I will break a 46lb shovel this year yet!

we will be raffling off a abu garcia 6500lc reel mounted on a 12ft hyperglow rod this
weekend!!!!! slipbobberdave, billy, and katdaddyberg were already out to get there
tickets!!!!!! they are $5.00 ber chance "or" 5 chances for $20.00.

might have to make the drive to buy a ticket, what day are you doing the raffle Mark? so i know i make it. not sure i will be able to do any fishing this wk.end yet or not, spent alot of $$$$$$$$$$$ last wk. fishing and @ bass pro. but will drive out to buy a ticket and for the raffle

Mark, I now work with cattdaybergs brother jesse I think I got him talked in to comming back down when he saves up some cash to pay for the trip. Just thought I would let you kno. Make sure noone pops that jar till I get there

Im sure there are people showing up just to see if they got what it takes. I have yet to hit a forty the past two years. Its getting old fast. Im going to try and make it up there on saturday. Heading south on sunday. Hopefully I will see you then
