Hey all
every year Birdseeds holds a Fishing Debry on the Great Miami , we are not allowed to hold it during a specail day and set hours on the river so we hold it another way .
Starts at 7 am July 3 runs until 8 pm July 6th Birdseeds will be OPEN 24/7 during this time ! Catch a fish , bring it in to weigh in and check in NO STRINGERS ALLOWED means no precatching lol
If we declare it to be a pay lake fish not river we will disqualify it.
Cost to enter is $15 puts you in 1st , 2nd. and 3rd Breakdown is $8 goes to 1st $4 goes to 2nd $3 goes to 3rd BirdSeeds holds the money but does not get any of the money pay out is based on entires must have 20 presigned to hold it or it will be canceled , you can entry as late as 5pm on July 6 if you like , if the Debry is running.
Fish the River for 4 days or fish it for 4 hours all that matters is that during that time you catch a big one . Any dont discount a small fish if their are not hitting then a small fish could win ! Pictures will be taken of all fish brought in.

That can't be good for those big fish to be out of the water long enough to bring them to your bait shop, then back to the river!

i was in one they had at teh old place, they gave u hervy duty bags to bring them in, told u to add alittlle water and they had a tank ready for the fish they know a fish can maintain out of water water for a timeframe but still needs some water so they provided something that will hold water too. most liek me care enough to take care of the fish ourselves in our own tanks. they are only 2 min to 5 min drive from the river where most fished. but now they only have 1 A year and its over with , they comes to u if u think u got a state record fish they will come out to take pictures and all for u , good people there

Hi everyone for some reason the debry drew some interest lately to help clear up some matters on this . We provided bags for the fishermen to bring the fish in and supplied a tank for the fish , if the fishermen did not want to return it to the river we would take the fish back as we are a catch and release in the same area caught too if able. Most of the fishermen who were in the debry had tanks they hauled in so they care enough to take care of the fish too. 1 guy took quilts and wet them down put the fish in and then he laid more wet quilts on top of them that was when we held a most pounds takes all he brought in 148 # s of fish . it was amazing to see all of them. anyway no more debrys will be held. due to new rulgations on how many shovel heads u can have as too many are taking them from our rivers to farm ponds
