went last sunday caught 10 biggest was 30,i was fishing the top lake with chubs and big warmouths,and a couple smallmouth bass ;D,ya know every single time i throw out a smallmouth at paradise it goes down i say bass are one of my fav baits for shovelheads. lol yeah bass dont last to long in there.killer bait at cp2.

well im still catching fish at paradise but it has slowed down,we took 45 largemouths down last week and went threw all them i think we caught 29 out of 2 of us not to bad we missed a lot they are just barely grabing it,i got about 12 smallmouths in the tank now but we were thinking about going to hickory instead of paradise.

i wouldnt waste your your time went yesterday no bites all day and half the the nite they never ran the air all day or nite and the water is way down seen alot of shovels swimming the bank that looked half rotten on their death bed.the guy in the bait shop said they havent been catching any in awhile but the bait house looks nicer and got to see the new lakes empty

ya that bait shop looks real nice saw it again today,we fished there for about 7 hours we had one bite but the guy across caught 14 blues all on micro shad 10 foot deepso at least i saw some action,trying cozy in the morning see what happens.

Can anyone tell me what lake at cp2's has more blues in it? The top lake or the bottom lake.

bottom lake for sure !!!!!!!! well at least thats were i have caught most of mine and i have seen more by other people,but that guy yesterday caught 14 inthe top lake so try both.

i guess shad is the bait thats needed for this time of year but id go bluegill heads and heads and bass if i could get it

i would say fresh shad and skipjack is the best winter bait and chubs and bluegill heads work at least thats what me and bennie (bennie8888) have been catching them on for the past couple of winters.
