Bull heads are great bait. I lot of people think the yellow bellie is a bull head. They are a little diffent. The bull head is stout like the bellie but they are dark colored and white on the underside of them. Bull heads are some tough bait.

i have used baby channels and had no luck thinking they'd be the sh*t, like 5 years ago at CP1 i traded this bald dude there that fished it all the time some lil warmouths for some baby channels like 4 1/2 in. long and couldn't keep them alive or get a hit on the darn things to save my life, tried to take them home in the tank and they DIED don't know how long he had'em or wat but they didn't seem very good or maybe it was just me

you know wat else drives me crazy that people call green sunfish "warmouth" and we don't even have warmouth around here, they are 2 totally different types of sunfish, even though i just stated "warmouth" in the last reply lol, look up some fish photographs on google or something and compare a green sunfish to a warmouth , and you'll see what everyone calls "warmouth" are actually green sunfish, i know this maybe nit pickin' but i had to say it sooner or later

YOU ARE RIGHT.I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNEW THAT.LOL THE WARMOUTH HAVE REDDISH EYES,LARGE MOUTHS AND OLIVE-BROWN SIDES WITH BROWN MOTTLING AND THEY ONLY HAVE THREE SPINES IN THE ANAL FIN.AND THE WARMOUTH ALSO HAS SEVERAL REDDISH-BROWN STREAKS THAT REDIATE FROM THE EYE AND EXTEND ACROSS THE HEAD GREEN SUNFISH HAS A LARGE MOUTH AND A LONG BODY THAT CLOSELY RESEMBLES A BASS. ITS BROWN TO OLIVE GREEN SIDES ARE TINGED WITH EMERALD GREEN,AND THE UNDERSIDES ARE WHITE OR YELLOW.

There are 3 kinds of bullheads. Brown, Yellow, and Black. Also depending on where they come from the color changes a bit on them, like a flathead catfish, some are really dark and some are really yellow. I have tried the baby channels, but never do any good with them. I stick to using bellies and panfish.
