I have used most of the higher end rods and lower end rods on the market. We sell more surf gear that any other bait and tackle shop or pay lake around Ohio. I have to say that the Lamiglas Surf King is one of the best rods I have ever fished and this rod is cheaper than G-Loomis or St Croix's surf rods. Has any one else ever used this rod or hear of it.

Never heard of it. Are they anything like st croix or g loomis? Or ocean masters? They look to be thinner so maybe lighter? I would love to have a light stiffer rod for trolling. any suggestions?

I believe that the Lamiglas may be just the same or better than G-Loomis or St Croix. Lamiglas makes 6 different surf models to choose from. This rod does have just a littles shorter handle than St Croix rods. What kind of rod are you using now if you want something a little stiffer? I like a M or MH rod because they cast further. Never heard of it. Are they anything like st croix or g loomis? Or ocean masters? They look to be thinner so maybe lighter? I would love to have a light stiffer rod for trolling. any suggestions?

To be honest Im really not sure. The st croix is my buddies and I use it sometimes. The g loomis is a 12ft med heavy fast action rod. Thats a stiff rod and a good pole but..... I want something light but not flimsy to go along with it to use for trolling. I got a yellow river cat rod thats ok but not what I want for trolling. I want something like a diawa emcast but I heard they break easily.

Daiwa emcast has had some problems but alot of it is the fisherman mistreating the rods. But the emcast does break easier than other graphite rods. Take a look at some of the surf rods on our website. We have several to choose from. To be honest Im really not sure. The st croix is my buddies and I use it sometimes. What is the warranty like on those rods? That is part of the reason I am so sold on St. Croix rods..

These rods have a 1 year warranty and on the other surf rods they are lifetime warranty. What is the warranty like on those rods? That is part of the reason I am so sold on St. Croix rods..

I was listening, untill you started with the Bull sh-t. Have been to your baitshop, very nice. But your sales pale in comparison to Cedar Lakes Bait shop. Her sales run in the hundreds of thousands of $$$ of tackle. Don't blow your horn when you know its B S. Hard to believe you about the product when you make stupid claims.

You can say what you want. I do not really care ho much tackle Cedar Lakes sells a year. I am not going to state our business as how much tackle we sell a year. But I can tell you that we sell tackle all over the world. We ship out hundreds of orders on a weekly basis. I have been to some of these other lakes and they should feel guilty for what they are selling some of the tackle for. Especially the floats. I have several customers that come to our store and buy tackle that fish at Cedar Lake so I must be doing something right. Does it really matter anyway? Why do you have to act like a D**K to everyone on here. I do not care if you believe me or not. This is all I am going to say I am going to going to sit on here and argue over something that is stupd like some of these threads has turned on to. Well said Larry, I have seen your stock and it is very resonable in price and quality. My dad was saying something about wanting a couple of these rods, but he couldnt remember the name of them.

Catcatcher you need to chill out. He said they sell more SURF gear than any other paylake. Last time I was at cedar they sell paylake rods and catfish gear, not surf rods. Don't think you can take your paylake cat rod to the ocean and think its going to perform like a true surf rod. I have been on their website and seen the pictures. They have a great selection of items and a large stock. I am trying to come out and take a look at a few of your rods here soon..
