I wish someone would stock them. I have yet to catch one. I might have to make a trip up to Minnesota and catch some...

There was lake that stocked them over here in KY but it has closed. Those things used to tear the goldfish up.

I am assuming it has to do with all the dieseases latley. They had that big out break of VHS as well as a big outbreak in bait fish. So they have tightened up the regulations and what they allow to come in and out of the state. I will see if I can't look into it and find out some solid facts.

the lakes that they get them from ( lake mich. and in minn.) has had a higher then normal mercury content, and to be able to get them the owners of the lakes that want them will have to pay to have them checked by the state and what not, and they will have to be tagged from them (state) that pass there inspection, and to get them inspected cost some ser. $$$$$$$$$'s not counting the fish people whoever the lake owner can get if any to hawl them and pay for the permit and that tehre is again some ser. $$$$$$$$$'s.. so know one has stocked them for about 5 or 6 yrs. now that i know of anyway.
