My cousin has been getting some at the spill way between Franklin and Miamisburg across from DP&L.

the chataqua dam in miaimisburg? I have never heard it called that, but I don't live around there either, might be the same thing. As your coming out of Franklin and about to enter Miamisburg it would be on your left. The area you fish is a BIG beach of gravel and you can see DP&L on the other side.

sounds about right , i just call it that because the road right after the d**n to go to DP&L is Chataqua drive or something close to that on your left

do you get any good ones out of there? biggest i've caught out of the miami river is around 6lbs seen alot bigger caught have caught lots of saugeye out of that river over the years

I haven't gotten a good one this year yet, but I usually manage a bunch in the 23-28 inch range.

those are nice fish, i usually always night fish especially in the middle of winter

been getting some pretty nice saugeye lately out of the Great Miami , post some pics of them soon , biggest so far is 5 1/4 lbs What have you been hitting them on? orange jig head black grub tiped with a minnow, chrome husky jerk, perch floating rapala, shiners fished on bottom or under a float. thats whats been working for me. definantly the husky jerk and perch color rapalas at night.
