when your fishing in a lake that big ,and they are out in the middle of the lake,thats what it take to get out that far,but i will agree that is to much for me to use as well.

i ordered the 2 1/4 predator rod... i have one of the 1 3/4 ones its just to flimsy so ill have to see how i like this one.

now that we are back on the subject of fav rods you now im going to have to say the 10 foot emcast but i like my 11 foot preadator rods to.

if those are the ones im thinking of they are very high dollar like 3 or 4 hundred,but they are very sweet,i would love to have a couple.

yeah the saltiga ballistic is like 400$ they olny come 13 foot.... but the saltiga comes in all the sizes as the emcast but with a lifetime warranty there like a 189 for 10 footer
