Does anyone know of a line that is ice resistant? I like fishing with slip bobbers while ice fishing and have trouble keeping the ice of the line. I would like a line where ice does not stick to it. Any help would be appreciated.

If you get on the In-Fisherman web site and see if they have a ice fishing link , that might help you out. They usually give a break down on the gear they use when they go out on there fishing trips.

Thanks for the info. I am getting ready for the trout stocking here in KY that takes place in January. Ever since the started working on the wolf creek dam in cumberland the trout that are being stocked are small which is my preference since the will eventauly be bait. Last year I was able to keep trout alive for 8 weeks in a 30 gallon aquarium as well as in my gold fish pond in the back yard. I love fishing with live trout. Thanks again for the info.

yeah it was a good time, i use to catch some big burbot out of rainbow in the 2nd biggest lake late spring/early summer on blue gills and goldfish, they would be pretty skinny but really long, if they had good bellies on them they'd go 12+lbs , i've seen a couple out of Bill's go 17-18lbs
