heard the 85pound blue was caught at cozydale and they would not pay the man his jackpotmoney. i heard they said the fish had to be in the lake for two weeks but it was not posted. but they gave him the weekly so why does this fish not count for the other. sounds fishy to me. any else hear anything.

sounds like they did not want him to get yr payoff..so they gave him a little cash to make it up to him.could not have been anycash in the weekly this time of yr.just think of how po i would have been.they would have called 911

i cant honestly answer any of that my self for being im not much of a cozydale person. but i can say this. i have a few good friends and family memebers who fish it frequent and they say it is one of the fairest lakes to fish. so it could be rumor

I know one thing if something ever goes bad at Cedar for some horrible reason, i would have to say Cozy would be the next lake to fish.

I dont know i can say they are a bit picky on how they run there lake, cant have a grill to cook out on or anything, so to be truthful i would not be shocked if it is true.. Been there 2 time and prob.. wont go back till i start hereing good things about the lake i caught a 44lb10oz blue and a few nice small blues and channels. But like i said would not hold it past them..

how much is a ticket here to get in everything, heard it was like $27, if so that is alittle steep

yes you need a small fortune to fish there. but the jackpots payout well. i hear

well when we went it was like $32 to get into all the slots, and jackpots and when i caught that 44'10 they said i only had one op. to choose from either take the slot $ i hit on or put my fish on the wkly. jackpot. They lakes i have fished before is if you are in everything you get that fish entered into it all if you bought into everything.. But thjey would'nt, i had to pick, so i took the 44 slot, and like i said in my other post i wont be back untill i here they have started running there lakes right..

i agree you pay to play and if you win you win i feel you were entitled to what you enetered whether it was four jackpots you won on one fish.

Kinda off topic, but we went there several times last year. Biggest I caught was a 17.5#

Mostly fished off the point at the top end of the old lake. By May we had nicknamed it lake scuzzy-dale because of all the moss & muck. Stopped going because we got into a fracas with a couple of stupit teenagers who where being all noisey, making a mess, and trying to root us out of the spot we were in.

The owners came over and got on us about it!

PS - didn't get to keep the 17# and didn't get a dime for it either.

Yeah thats how it is there, if you dont know or not in the click over there and kiss the owner's you know what thats how they treat new people that come there. been there 2 time and wont go back like i have said in my last few post's
