Could wait any longer, I was going to Cedar but they were not allowing catfishing, so I had to bite the bullet and head to Cozy. We fished for about 6 hours. I didnt get a run but my buddy hit a 40 pound shovel. Good looking fish, it had a lot of fight in him. Other than that nothing else was hitting.

I have a cell photo, but have trouble trying to get it onto the website. I will try again. We were fishing the new lake, about 2 shacks down . Man that lake is deep. It was at least 13-16 feet and the lake was down a good 3 feet. We were using live bluegill and shad, and heads. It hit a bluegill head. Put up a great fight. We were the only ones there. Took the opportunity to learn the lake a little. We broke out the fish finder. Man it was awesome. We could see drop offs a few pieces of structure. I would guess that they were rock piles but you never can tell. Seen a lot of big fish on the finder. I had my bait in front of them all day, just couldnt get them to bite. I will be heading back out with some live 5-6 inch trout, in about 6-7 days ,see if that will get them going.

i saw a kid crack a 55+ shovel one night in novemeber in the new lake off a chub a foot deep

I will bring some live soon to be dead shad, Bluegills, and live trout. Maybe some mack to.

Man I seen a dude up there hit at least 20 fish on one ticket. The biggest was 52 and the smallest was about 25. He was killing them. I had my bobber right next to his, I mean it was with in 6 feet of his. I didnt get a bite. He was using the chicken tipped with a crawler. It was feb 2006.

I am booked this weekend, But maybe next Saturday or Sunday. I will let you know. Do you think some live trout will do well? I try to get them as small as possible maybe 5-7 inchs
