hey guys i been told if u put shad in a masson jar let the jar sit outside on hot summer days the sun melts the shad and makes a good fish oil and u poor that on your bait and it makes good bait even better has anyone else heard of this..or is this bull

I have heard about it, usually people put a sponge in it and then hook that. I don't deal with that stuff though, just put a piece of shad on your hook and your good to go.
