seems like u fish cozy alot... got a question 4 u... in the new lake if your lookin out from the baithouse is the end closets to the bait house the better cove or farthest from it and whicj side should i fish and how deep??? i plan on hitting the new lake alot this year, also would like to kno some good bait...  thanks... |

i have fished the new lake some and from what i saw the best spot is the 3rd shanty down between the aerators. Fish it about 12-13 ft on either side of the lake

if your lookin from the baithouse on the left side of the lake there is a shelter with no roof i have seen alot of nice fish come out of that side of the lake at the far end

i was there a few weeks ago and they fixed the roof but yeah that is a good spot the farthest end if you are looking at it from the bait house it don't really matter what side the lake in not that big from side to side

last week when i was there the new was filled back up to the right level i was suprised they must have got alot of rain

mann the best spot @ the new lake is the rite side the 1st shelter straight out its like a drop off thats were i caught my 44 @ an my dad caught that 50 both were flats 1 off gold fish 1 0f isralie but u would kill em wit mullets an chubs an crawfish

yea i caught one shovel that was 33 pounds and then snagged 2 that were over 40 which sucks but it happens, but those fish were in the top lake on the road side 3 shed,15 foot deep.
