Last weekend went down to creek near house, took one box of waxworms and we probably had 20-30 chubs and shiners in 20 minutes. But alot are full of eggs right now. If you dont put those ones back your chub hole will not have as many when you are looking for them later in the year

whats more important is to throw the breeder chubs back! (the ones with the spikes on their heads) they use their spikes for making nest.....

whatever you do dont plan on buying them unless you have a $$$ tree in your yard. 17bucks a pound. $1.25 or so for some wax worms and you can catch way more than a pound just gotta spend some time.

So I may sound pretty stupid for this but I don't care...we used to catch those out of the creek (the ones with spikes on their heads) and I had never ever seen one like that before. Well nobody else did either so I guess that makes me look a little better..lol. At least now I know that you should always put those ones back. So thanks for posting that.
