Well my trip yesterday did not go so well. When i got there around 9:00 there was still some Ice but there was plenty of places to fish. The Ice cleared for the most part by noon and i would guess that with the weather the way it is it won't be back. I started off on the dam fishing out by the aerators and the first marker....nothing. Then over by the first shelter after the bridge thing and fished and trolled all over that area....nothing. I then moved to the rock ledge opposite the d**n and fished and trolled all around that area....nothing. For bait i used strawberry chicken, night crawlers, live chub, live shiner, cut chub, and cut shiner. All in all i did not see my line move. Don't be discouraged though, this is only the third time i had fished cedar and i know that it is a lake that you have to know to do good on. I spent allot of time trying to find holes and get my depth correct. Plus, correct me if i am wrong, but fishing in the winter is allot different then fishing in the summer, and I don’t have much experience fishing in the winter. Well that is it for now.
Peace Elijah

Questions: How many other people were there? Did you see any fish caught at all? Did you see any activity in the lake, fish moving etc?

I have a feeling by the end of this coming week things will be quite different ! The weather is about to break--lows of only 40's all next week. I have a feeling they will start hitting.
