I NEVER SAID I BROKE ONE. BUT WHEN I BOUGHT MY BREAKAWAY RODS THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE DOESN'T COME CLOSE. IF YOU LOVE THOSE RODS THAT MUCH YOU CAN BUY MINES, AND I HAVE THREE OF THEM !

IF YOU LOVE THOSE RODS THAT MUCH YOU CAN BUY MINES, AND I HAVE THREE OF THEM ! well yeah the breakaway surf rods are 200+ dollar rods, the performance of the rod is better for sure! but that doesnt make other rods junk... i have used alot of different surf rods and i could call breakaway rods junk just because i have used other rods that felt better to me...

Yeah, the old Breakaway LDX rods are awesome distance casting rods, impractical for paylaking IMHO, unless your fishing a huge lake like Moore Acres. But since All Star sold out, and the blanks and rods that put All Star/Breakaway on the map are no longer made to the same specs and the quality control is now in the toilet, I wouldn't pay more than Emcast prices for them.
But anyway, back to the topic... I'm running 2 G. Loomis 1267C's and 2 Modded Records.
