I went up to Cedar last Sunday to see what was going on. I asked them about a tourney for this year and they said there is going to be one, thay just have to wait for Monica to get back from vacation so they can plan it out.

how much is it and do you pick your own spots or do they give them to you

They are usually round $45 a person. And they drawl names then you can go and pick your spot. Also you can put a couple of names on the same card, so when they drawl it out you all can go and pick a spot, but you have to be side by side with each other.

it isnt a team tourney. You can just have someone else to split money with if one of you win an hour or catch big fish of the day.

eveyone is side by side or just who ever is with you because im new to the big poles and bait casters ill cross someone lol last year i used a 7foot pole and im getting 10 or 12 foot ones and i don't know how good ill bea able to cast them and the deep spots are the only good spots there i think anyway

You get to use two rods within a 12 foot section. Usually you have plenty of casting room. And no the whole lake is good you just have to know it a little. Just to let you know 2/3 rds of the lake is 9 foot or deeper.

well maybe b4 it starts or sometime this spring ill let you know when im going to go up there and if you would show me some good spots if you don't mind other than the deep part

Last year we struck out eh Greg? Maybe this is our year.Hey guys Cedar is class A when it comes to paylakes.Monica runs a great business and is great to deal with.This is a great event and well run so don't miss it.It's in April right Greg?
