Went to lake monroe with my son sat.nite about 8:00 pm sat. My float started up and down, I started getting a little nervous and shaking some, I could not believe it. I was thinking about those pictures in the baithouse of those big ol fish and was kinda hoping it wasn't one of those. I have fished for a long time but never went for flathead or bluecat. It turned out that nothing ran off with my line then but, at 6:00 am Sun. I opened the bails and walked up to get a coffee, when I got back I was missing a float checked my line and there was something on it. I got real lucky,it was a 14.2 Llb. flathead ,it was awsome. Had a real good time, hope to do this again.
