Even if you know the lake it's all about getting your name drawn early. If your name is drawn late/last you wind up fishing a spot you wouldn't normally fish.
Regardless it's going to be fun.

I have fished there about 3 times, I have only hit one fish. But I did talk with the owner and he pointed out some tire piles in the lake.

tire piles sound nice the lake is 27 ft deep thats nice jus the baits 4 that lake a whole mess A varieityof baits my little soliders that r gonna winn me the tournment

Regardless it's going to be fun. yeah i never thought about that i can not try the whole lake lol but i want to try it out anyway i can watch others while i fish get an idea of what spots are good

just depends on the weather ive seen it 65 the fisrst part of march and catching channels on opening day at rainbow, the first friday in april and fishing in the snow catching channel cat..

end of march early april usually. right when the water starts warmin up and they start movin around.

I've been up to SKY a couple times this march and last weekend saw 5-6 decent shovels come out, i think the biggest was ~30 just a little before dark. After dark came the blues started rollin on top, i think the water is startin to warm up a bit

I like to get after the shovels early april.....of course weather permitting Cincinnati weather can be crazy!
