Hey what's up everybody, I'm Earl. I've been lurking around here for a few months checking out lake reports and figured I might as well make an account. I love the site, I just got back into big cat fishing about 2 years ago, I used to fish Charlies Lake (now Moore Acres) as a kid, now I've been hitting CP1, Cozy Dale, Clearwater, and Fat Cats. But anyway, I'm from Columbus, I know most of you are from around Cincy but I was wondering if anyone else is from around Columbus? Possibly go fishin sometime or atleast let me know about some good lakes around me that I don't have to drive 2 1/2 or 3 hours to get too.
Thanks, Earl

Yea, Fat Cats is right off of 71 between 665 and 62. It's only been open to public for less than a year, but it's a very nice lake. They are working on the road right now and will be building a bait house soon. They had some zoning issues as the lake was zoned as "agriculture" instead of "aquaculture" so everything kind of came to a hault. But zoning is fixed and they'll be open again as soon as the road is done.
I have done very well at Fat Cats. As fas as quality and quantity it ranks up there with the best of them. Tons of 30-50's, and I haven't caught a fish under 12. Last year my biggest shovel there was 44# and my biggest blue was 58#. I only fished there maybe 6 times last year, but I will be fishing there alot more often this year. But the staff is really nice and the tournys are 100% payout.

well i dont know about too many that way but cp2 is only abou 11/2 from you maybe a touch more. columbus is only 11/2 from me. takes 10 20 minutes to get there. 70 to 127 south to camden. it is about 15-18 miles to camden. left on 725 as soon as you cross the railroad tracks at the stopsign turn rght. no sooner than you turn right stay to the right. DONT GO UP THE HILL! 3-5 miles out that way you make a sharp left. 500 ft up HOEL RD. make a right lake will be on your right. allot of cincy members go there about every weekend
