what  every time im there all i see caught is shovels and all i ever caught there was shovels seen pics of all the blues but never see them get caught |

THERE ARE SOME BIG SHOVELS IN THERE TO JUST ASK RATLIF 81LBER TWICE....THERE IS ALSO A 106 LBER SWIMMING AROUND IN THE BIG LAKE...GOOD LUCK BRINGING THAT BIG BOY IN...LOL

You might be right I guess, maybe the layout of the big lake is deceiving, I didn't think it was as big as Long's used to be. I guess you got me. But, I do have a problem with one small detail... You came out and said that the small "new" lake is only 0.9 acres. Well why would you falsely advertise it on your website as being a 1.5 acre lake?
I've been to your lake about 8 times, seen big fish caught, caught a few myself. A couple times I've caught 8+ fish, didn't see many other people banging them. I get on here and see people post "good day of fishing" after they catch 7 fish, biggest was 47 or something. Which means, I personally haven't seen or heard of people bangin fish.
Just out of curiousity, whats the most your 70+ jar has been busted in one year? Me and a buddy were wondering, doesn't really have anything to do with the thread.

i never have seen any body just slam them there like catch fish the whole 12 hours,most i saw was probally 10 in 12 hours but im not going to get in the middle of this.because there is nothing wrong with hickory grove.

I'm always here to help.
The little lake was shot with a transit to come out at 1.5 acres.
But when I was finishing it I had to change the dam. When it filled up it only measured .9
I will change that on my web site. I don't update it nearly enough, and will work on that.
On the thread about a good day, all of those I believe were after Labor day. My best bite is between Memorial Day and 4th of July. Especially in a drought year like this year.
My 70 lb jar was busted 41 times this year. The most was in 2006 when it was busted 53 times.
In 2006 my 60 lb jar was busted 108 times. My best year for it as well.
This year the 60 lb jar was busted 81 times. I'll do my best to answer any other questions you might have.
