what do you guys use as a trap for chubs and stuff? a regular minnow trap?

YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN. HOME DEPT HAS THE WIRE SCREEN YOULL NEED. I JUST USE ZIP TIES TO HOLD IT TOGETHER WITH ONE OPENING AND ONE DOOR TO GET THE BAIT OUT. MAKE AS BIG AS YOU WANT. BUT THERE ARE RULES AND REGULATION ON SIZE. MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THAT OUT FIRST..

yeah just a regular trap. Only cost $10. Just to let you know it cannot be longer than 24 inches long, and the opening can not be larger than 1 inch.

Watch out for the well traveled creeks when you set the trap. I have had some taken. Use dark colored line and make sure it's place in a hard to reach place so not a lot of people have the opportunity to come across it. Use something under the water to tie it off to, so as not to wash away with a strong current.
