Thanks Geezer, I am thinking some wood frames with chicken wire. Maybe go with the rectangle shape about 2 feet long. This creek is sweet it is feed by the licking river and I know it has yellow bellies, blue gill, shad and perch. The shad I can get other places, I am wanting to use the traps fro several reasons but the main reason is to see if I can get some suckes or chubs. I appreicate the info.

HELL YA GO BUCKS...YOU WILL FOR SURE CATCH CHUBS. STUFF IT WITH BREAD. I MAKE MINE ROUND AND ONE END OPEN. THE OPEN END IS THE HARDEST PART FOR MYSELF MAKING IT LIKE A FUNNEL AND FITTING INTO THE TRAP ITSELF. THEY ALWAYS PRODUCE LOTS OF CHUBS AND SHINNERS. SOME YELLOW BELLIES AND SUCKERS.

Yes they do. They have the regular little minnow trap, an extension for that trap and a crayfish trap.

Before you start rigging your traps you better check the state law for them.

i was jsut getting ready to say that Greg. And i saw him saw something about perch, you really better check out your state laws for sure. Get caught with them and well you might be useing anything for fishing for awhile.. real strick laws and game fish like perch,bass,ect.. ( hawling them for bait purpose)..
