Thanks that is a great ideal for next year. Do you put them in a bait tank or a aquarium?

ive done both it works either way, i put a filter and a areator in with the fish and if you do this what ever store your at make sure to buy gold fish food and keep your fish tank or bait tank clean because gold fish are dirty fish hope this works out for you and why wait till next year to do it do it know gold fish are fast growing fish i just bought mine the other day, but good luck.

just a little advice in case you didnt know you have to control the amount of ammonia in your tank gold fish are a member of the carp family and they give off alot of ammonia no-ammonia in granules or tablets at most bait shops or pet stores and if you ever put other bait in with them you have to be extra careful

yeah i go there for my bait all the time, get leachs there as well when they have them in. You can by blue gills there as well, (they are warmouths) the one i saw in the tank where anyway. always get a flat of night crawlers in the spring to for channels, when we fish for them for the other web-site i belong to (yahoo/groups/ ohiopaylakes) we have a fish fry for that web-site every late spring my uncle started it (web-site). try to load up on night crawler's even catch them out of the yard, cant never have enough worms.. You can also buy bait by the dozen izzies goldfish at Bird seeds as well in the spring-summer.. Good prices..
