Went out today a caught about 4.5 dozen chubs.Got them in the ole bait tank now and ready to hit Reds next Friday with them.

yea chubs are out all year long actually i think fall and winter is the best time for chubs i rarely catch them in the summer like i do in the winter and we also cleaned up last week we were tearing them up we got probally 10 dozen or more.

i to am going to hit the mill!i find tons of down there no matter what time of the year! and i got this little hole where there are always warmouths galore!

yeah im gonna go and try this spot a friend of mine told me about behind his house and see whats up. He says he catchs them back there so i =m gonna find out..

I wouldnt say the lord of bait but i try. My favorite bait is shad heads but had a hard time getting shad last year. I usually wont go to a paylake without about 200 pieces of live bait. If any are left they go home to the tank.My favorite bait goes like this
1 shad heads
2 pumpkin seeds
3 warmouths
4 big creek chubs.

question so wen u fish dead bait like shad an other dead bait is there a specific way u put them on your hook

If im using shad heads i hook them through the eyes.If its chubs i curl them on my hook
