i just got two catmax rods 7fters from bass pro $29.99 each it looks like they have redone the eyes since the last time i saw them the eyes used to bend real easy now they are good and stiff.i bought them for river rods so now i have two of them and two quantum bigcats 7'6

i think catmaxx rods are a little heavy to me,and all the ones i owned the eyes always fell apart i was always fixing them,know all i use is emcast

I THOUGHT THAT THE LINE YOU USE 20LB TEST IS DEPENDS ON THE COVER OR STRUCTURE THAT YOU FISH.. 20LB TEST IS MORE THAN ENOUGHT IN THESE PAYLAKES.. I WATCH BIGGAMERS CATCHING BLUE MARLINE ON LIGHT TACKLE CONSISTING OF 20LB TEST... HMMM

O BABY JUST BOUGHT 2 NEW 11 FOOT CASTING CATMAXX RODS AND THEY LOOK DARN SHARP! THEY ARE A DEAL COMPARED TO WHAT OTHER RODS COST!

you probably should have waited till the spring sale. They usually go on sale for about $10 off the price you paid. But still a good buy either way you look at it.
