I've been there once and caught one fish. I had a great night there (due more to my friends and the legendary funny stories of the night). This seems like a one hole lake and everyone was trying to throw in the same spot. The one set of guys that seemed to have the best shot at the spot, at the very end of the peninsula (remember the lake is shaped like a horseshoe), really tore it up. I'd love to go there again, when its not crowded, and get that spot.
Irritating things about the lake 1 - you park far from the lake (but may pay $5 to get a golfcart ride) 2 - no fires (unless you buy their wood) 3 - small lake, and odd shape limits it

No, it's a different lake. I think Horseshoe is in Bethel, but I have never been there. Heard lots of good things about it though. I think it is out 125 in Bethel somewhere.

Heading to Horseshoes later this week. How are the biting and what are they biting? Any suggestions on where to fish? Really looking forward to going, heard nothing but good things about the lake.
