ME AND HAWGHUNTER went to paradise 2 fridaynight..the wether was nice but the lake is still partly frozen..we had a couple of downs but didnt catch any..i saw a couple of fish roll so hopefully by next week they should be turned on

Did you get your downs on live or cut bait? In my experience in the early part of the year the fish dont take the bait as well. I get a lot more slow downs vs. those great bait clicker runs. Is there any where up there close to buy creek chubs. We are having a hard time catching good live baits down here. We are stocked up on cutbait however. Maybe we'll see you guys up there this weekend.

your rite they are just barley taking it u almost have to be troling to catch one

Did you try any skipjack or cut shad? These are my best coldwater baits. Sounds like I should try to catch a few trout this week.
