i think james is having trouble geting fish this year it's already april and he has'nt put any blues in. last year at this time he had it filled with blues and we destroyed them. i dont buy that they put in 20,000 lbs of shovels last year after they closed they may have put some in. my reasons are 1 why would you put 20,000 lbs of shovels in after you close for the season. 2.any body who fishes there knows he has trouble keeping fish alive even when it was tanners. 3 and finally why would you stock 20,000 lbs of shovels in oct and nov cold months in a shallow lake when you are closed so your not going to make money on them and most will die during the winter.
i may be wrong in this thinking but please tell what you guys think 20,000 or probably more like 2,000 or 3,000 lbs if that many . i just cant see him doing that at that time of the year when he isn't open if he did it was a waste of good fish.

uhmmm catfishermans is open 24-7 365 days a year. but yes when i was out there a few weeks ago they were dragging dead ones out left and right. but if im not mistaking he has a liscense that allows to trap his own fish. from the ohio and maumee rivers and such. dont know how true that is because it was hear say. but i have heard from more than one person.
