between myself and 2 friends we caught 58 on one ticket. the biggest was a 37# blue caught more shovels than blues. most of the fish were caught on dead creek chubs and dead mullet very few fish caught on live bait. as far as the fishin being good in Oct., if the fish are bitting you are going to catch fish don't matter what month it is. i have caught a few bigger fish in late sept. and early oct.
