this why i say all pay lakes lie. i just looked at monroe web site and it said that on 3/15/07 they stocked a few 60lbs cats. I know for a fact that this is not true the biggest was only a 57 lb shovel. they also have on there stocked sheet in the bait house the weights of the fish they stocked and it also has a 63 and 60 on it when really those two weights where two fish in one net. thats what burns me up why lie to tell us,just tell us the truth about what you put in.

they also had a pic of a 60lb blue in the spring 07 fish & game finder that pic is from last year . so if monroe starts a 60 and over jar this year i would'nt get in it becuase the last i checked fish don't gain weight in pay lakes and they have'nt put any 60's in this year.

I heard the same thing about stocking 2 fish 60 and over but heard it was 2 fish in the net. why not just tell the truth and why do they cater to the carp fisherman so much?

could use advice from bigcatcharlie - I would like to try Monroe for some good eating channel cats - the web site says go to the "middle" size lake - any particular spot around the middle size lake? - thx. proabaly will see you there when the weather breaks.
