Went to the discharge again last Monday. The water was in the mid 70's. I caught one largemouth and about 10 nice sized skipjack. The skipjack where killing the shad.

cast net, take rt4 through middletown and turn left into germantown, 725, and there are signs telling you wehre to turn. its a great place to get bait.. I did talk to a park ranger 2 yrs ago and he said cast netting is ok to do as long as it is by the books.. I was told that you couldn,t use a cast net but wanted to find out for sure.. Got to through into the swith water for them, you get alot of small mouth as well but got to watch out, there is alway a ranger there, in and out of the park aobut every hr or so..

yeah but i dont get them that big to often, mostly 4-8 inches, When i do get them that big i use 1/2 oz. of weight so they can swim where ever they want.. and being on the bottom dont have to worry about them swimming and getting tangled up with other floats..
