I had that happened to me at Paul's pay lake. It was a 6600c4. I was putting wood in the fire and heard a splash. Then in saw that my pole was gone. I could not find it any where. It was a bad night.

;D i have tied my rods trees with rope.I would cry if a fish ever got my rod.don't like too tape the line on but it would work..i use to tie to somthing them all the time in saltwater and river fishing.i used a bow knot fast and ez to get lose.pay lakes are smaller most likely run out of lake be for i run out of line...i hope got some nice rod holder now!!maybe go back to the rope!!

i use tape when i put new line on as well ust real loose and then fill,, def. dont hae to worry about running away with my stuff. I would rather run out of line then loose everything, i got pletty of line..
