Was watching the news earlier in the week, saw a report of the disease that is killing deer I guess the drought has increased the effects of the disease this year, cant remember what they called it. It appeared to be fairly widespread in KY. Over 2000 dear found dead in KY. The disease in ohio is called the Jason Butler plight J/K nice got many deer when I was actively hunting never got two in one day, good job.

talking about this, we went this week in highland county and a friend shot a spike buck and when we went to track it down and found it what we found when we got to him was so unbelieveable.. There was about 5 or 6 knots on his spine just back from the front shoulders and one of the knots has a 1/4 inch hole in it and white puss was coming out of it and we called the G.W. and he came out to check this out and said that the deer had about one day if that and it would be dead.. He said there was a guy over on state land that had found one with the same thing and said it took the 3 guys and the G.W. to drag it out and said it was easy a 190-200 class and was going to have it scored but would be counted because of it being dead with the crap.. That sux find one that big.. there was as of thursday about 750 in highland county alone found dead so far with this crap..Not counting the ones that have been actully shot and and had to just be left in the woods..
