anybody getting ready for the spring turkey season? I didn't do any good last year, but think that may change this year. Sunday, i watched 53 turkeys walk out behind the lake, 5 big birds in full strut. My wife said that every morning about 9 birds come within 100yds of our house. Think this year may be my year. Anyone else seeing birds in strut ?

Nathan I saw birds last year down by your lake. I'am hunting just off rt.73. You know the farmer. He has a lot of dairy cows.I remember you telling me that you hunted with Walter Ingram NWTF guy. I was talking to him last week and he said he heard 8 diff. birds gobbling last weekend. I can wait. Turkey hunting and Catfishing. I don't get much sleep in the spring.LOL Mike

Nice bird fishhunter. I killed one down in Adams Co. on the first day. 20 lbs. 9 in beard.1 in. spurs. Had 8 gobblers come to my decoy at the same time. That was a rush. They was gobbling there head off.LOL
