HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow was it hot down that way. Arrived at Catman Blues on Thursday at approx. 10:30. Nice lake and only two other stupid guys fishing in that heat besides ourselves. Wanted the point at the far end but the other guys were there. Set up on the dam near the back cove. My buddy whacked a Blue around 21# and then nothing else. The guys on the point packed up so we moved over there. All at once I could not keep my poles in the water for about an hour. Chub heads. Caught 5 blues and one shovel biggest being around 25#. Then they shut off. During the night session we were getting tired. Reeled our poles in to sleep and made the mistake of leaving the bait dangling in the water. When we awoke two of our rods were pulled in the lake. At first I thought someone stole them. But after checking things out we found one float out in the water and the rod was no longer attached. Never did find any other sign of the other rod. So if anyone pulls in two Cabelas Big Water Poles and Spinning reels they are compliments of the Pittsburgh Boys. Be back soon when the heat tames down some.
