shad heads izzys just about anything and dont know about good spots because ive caught fish all over.the first part of the lake is 6-8ft deep then from the big point on the far side to the dam is the deepest the big point is very popular. youn really cant go wrong in any spot, dont know when they start night fishing hope this helps.

the back cove is usually pretty good. just fish any of the points. i also have had luck fishing just 5 yards out. i used goldfish izzys and warmouth. tried chubs once but no luck, that was just a bad night though. i will probably start going in about a month. If you see me say hi i got a 89 black f-250

ShovelFreak, Dan just about covered it. Any spot is a good spot on this lake. Shad head is the bait, but I have done well with blue gills, yellow bellies and leeches. Thisearly in the yrear those fish should be all over. In the hot months hit the deeper water. I dont think they will be open for night fishing until the end of the month. The next time I talk to Treva I will ask her.

I agree with jrob. Me and my grandfather were fishing there on the side by baithouse next to the shelter area on the one point. We had some yellow bellies about 4-8 inches long. threw it about 10 feet from the shore and a 30 pounder took off with it.
Have had good luck with yellowbellies, izzyz, goldfish, warmouth.

I'd really have to agree with bigsmooth and bluecatblue before I tried a bluegill head there last year we were having no luck I think I had most of mine on goldfish heads and bluegill heads both using leeches definatley a head lake and last year it didn't matter what kind of head I used as long as I had a leech tipped on the end it was gone
