I was thinking about going during the day Saturday as I have never fished it before and would like to see what I'm doing and where I'm casting.
Can someone lend some advice here, Doe's this lake have rock piles, tires, ledges, holes and if so where are they located ?
If noone wants to go then I'll most likely hit up Castaway friday and then Cedar Saturday.
Thanks in advance

Dont think I'll make it out there this weekend. Been fishing for 4 days straight, and might take a break this weekend, but Hickory Grove is my lake; i know it like the back of my hand. The small lake has a ledge that runs all the way down the far bank, i usually fish one on the ledge about, 2ft. deep, and one off the ledge about 4-6ft. deep, as long as u fish that ledge all night I guarantee u will pull some fish off it. When u pull into the lake, looking straight at the big lake from the baithouse, either fish right in front of the baithouse, or even better if you can get it fish from the far right corner, throw straight out from either spot, and set your pole to about 13ft. deep, and cast out a little more than halfway, and troll it back, and you will find that hole out there. Ive pulled 11 fish over 50lbs. out of that hole in 4hrs. one night. The only bait i ever take there is Big Bluegills, Shad, and Chubs, if you cant catch anything on that then the fish up there just aint biting good. I went there last weekend, fished 3hrs. and caught 6 fish ranging from 17-30lbs. out of the small lake. Get there early if you want a good spot, cause it will be packed with people. Good Luck.

Randy here in a few weeks I wouldn't mind checking out hickory myself. Wouldn't mind trying to figure out which of those lakes that 106lb'r is in. Lemme know the next time you run out there if you like it.

Just to let everyone know that 106lb. fish is in the big lake, as well as a couple of 90's and some 80's. The little lake has some 80's and 90's in it to, it used to have one over 100 but i dont know if its still in there cause it hasnt been caught in awhile.

Drove out yesterday to check it out and also so I know where I'm going this morning and talk to the owners son and apparently there are (4) fish in the big lake 100#'s + and (1) fish in the small lake 100#'s +. In the big lake 2 of those 100#ers are shovels and they have a $1000 bounty on them.
Heading out here in a bit......
