Ya know.........I'm not real sure they are open in the winter or for that matter when they open (if they close for winter) in the spring ?
Please let us know what you find out.

the question will be how many of the 100lb fish lived if he had four he'll be lucky to have one 1 live to spring of 08. the only big fish i've ever seen live for more than one season was the 88lb blue at willards it was around for about a year and half and got caught about ten times but they would take that fish out of the lake after it was caught acouple of times and put it in the holding pond for two or three weeks.i think thats how he keep it around for as long as he did calhoun caught it once i saw it get caught three times.

i dont see why people think that the fish will/do die after awhile, i seen fish it lakes be caught over a long time frame. dont get me wrong they do die event.. but i saw fish live for yrs in lakes, some of it has to do with the way the fish is handled after its been caught. ive caught a buntch at a lake that used to be open in preble county many time over and over, i caught the same 281/2 lb. shovel about 10 time aver a 5 yr period.. I think its just the way they a handled after they have been caught thats all..
