Our first fishing Tournament will be at lake EZ on Sunday, April 1st. EZ is willing to allow us to run our tournament at their lake and fish at a reduced rate during the event. EZ will not be involved in the tournament money. I will let you guys set the entry fee for the tournament by voting in this poll. This will be a two pole tournament, and only catfish will count. The tournament will be on a points based system with three places, Third place will get their money back, second place will get 30% of the remaining pot, and first place will take 70%. I will post the points system later. There will be a guest list at the bait house and you must sign up for the tournament in the sign-up thread. To sign up, just reply in the sign-up thread stating that you want to participate and post your first and last name. If you are not comfortable posting your name, post that you are interested and private message me your name. I need your name for the guest list. To participate in the tournament, you must have an activated account in good standing and sign up in the sign-up thread (you can't sign up your buddy with your log-in). I will keep you guys posted on any developments and am always open to suggestions. This will be a day-time tournament. Give me some input on how early you want this to start. I will be having a meeting with Lake EZ on other promotions (raffles etc) and entry pricing. ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT ARE TO BE ASKED IN THIS THREAD. The sign-up thread is not for questions. Lake Info Lake EZ (513) 877-3279 7302 State Route 132 Blanchester, OH 45107 Mapquest Map

I say the earlier the better but I know some people may have a drive ahead of them so maybe 7A.M. or so. What about weather forcast? Alsept1 and myself were in a tourney at Cedar 2 years ago and froze our buts off -- snow and everything . I'll fish in any weather but is there any limitations ? Well I think snow may keep me at home lol.

No. This is a private tournament for CincyPaylakes members. They would have to register at this site and sign-up in the thread. You can bring anyone to fish, but they have to be members to enter the tournament.

A normal ticket is for 12 hours, but the tournament doesn't have to be 12 hours. I'd expect the tournament ot start before 10, buts thats up for you guys to debate. I doubt the lake will be that busy on a Sunday, early in the season. Its a big lake, we should have plenty of room.

I have 2-4 more ppl signing up.......maybe more. Rain snow or shine I'm down. Is it going to be only a 2 pole tourney? I will fish the entire 12 hours, we should, we've paid for it! Hows this point system going to work?

What do you guys think of this point system:
less than 10lbs - 1 pt 10-20 lbs - 2 pt 20-30 - 4pt 30-40 - 6pt 40 - 50 - 8 pt 50+ - 10 pt Puts more into bigger fish. I like points cause in a normal tournament, if one guy catches 3 30s and the guy next to him catches one 32, the 32 wins even though the guy with 3 30s had a better day.

I guess the tourney will cost $10. Wouldn't mind if it was $15. That would just mean a bigger payout.

Post from the sign up thread: i disagree cincy this is your site and without you starting it we wouldnt have it, so you must fish and participate in the tournament.

I think Cincy has a good point system set up. As far as entry fee - this early in the season I think $10.00 is a good starting point. Besides alsept1 you'd only be giving "me" more of your money ! LOL
