i fish alot of tourneys most of the lakes take like ten per fisherman from the entry. some say entry plus ticket with the option of the regular jackpots. some have tourneys with no jackpot options ,most have lakes closed to public, ive been to some where if there was night fishing the night before and there ticket is good they have to stop and packup there stuff and wait until everybody in the tourney has there spots before fishing more, i like draw tourneys where you have to be drawed before you can get your spot. ive seen people fish the night before a tourney just so they have the best spot in no draw tourneys, i stay away from those tourneys there not fair. i cant fish all night and all day anymore. the price for this tourny based on 50 fisherman if its 8hrs at 250 an hr plus 500 for big fish the owner makes 500 plus food and bait sales probally way more than a average sundays bringin i think its fair. if this were a draw tourney id be interrested

its as broad as it is long. he could have said "$50 tourney fee + $ 10 ticket", which is still $60, so it is simpler to just say $60 entry. this is the same way we do our tourney's. like Chris said, it is a paylake, not a free lake, the owners have to make a living too.
