i kow if you contact mead itself they will send you permission tag to hunt there land over in chilly town, we hunted a couple day dooring bow season. My wife know a lady that works for Mead, the Dayton office and she told me where/who i needed to contact. I have 900 acres i hunt just on the east side of hillsboro, the lady the owns the land give permission and allows camping with small trailors on here prop. by her house only though. and she charges only like $5 a day for use of electric if you use it that is. We have a old school bus set up there to we use, But we have been going there for 25 yrs. and pretty much like family to her. We bought the old bus from her as a matter of fact. But if you are i nterested let me know and i can give you direction to her place.

Yes the is great hunting in hillsboro I seen a very large 10 pointer being check in last year. King its good to hear there's still people that have a deer camp. Anymore with the large amount of deer no one experiences the long time tradition of deer camp. I go out to nelsonville and hunt Wayne National Forest on the atv trails. About 10 to 12 of us My grandfather goes he's 84 my uncle 64 and a bunch of buddy's. It's a good time every year.

yea mead also had some land in lewis co Ky i hunted it for years not a lot of deer but the chance for a monster is always there. 3 years ago had a big black bear run through camp at lunch man that was exciting have seen bobcats before also but most of it has been sold to private holders and its hard to get permission no one knows the bounderys very well and they say the crack heads mess with your stuff all the time while your gone its a shame there could be lots of deer if it werent for the potchers the only season they know is salt and pepper.

Hey King I go every year I know the area well We camp at Monday creak there's a group of Toledo guys there and us. last year the # of hunters were low some years it packed but most years there isn't. I know a lot of locals and I asked them when they poach what do they shot and they said that they never shot bucks even if it huge and running down the road. they said that they just shot meat. I am anti poaching I was taught not to but remember that south east Ohio is quit repressed and lots of family's live off of wild game. It was nice to hear that they just don't shot everything. I'v hunted with the locals for over ten years we'll do some pushes or drives with them. They are good people. That's funny I just went on a tangent! My point is that if you want Monday creak is open to you guys. Unless I see some thing huge I don't shot anything till gun season I'll put an eight pointer on that I got 2 years ago. img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1468pointerod3.jpg
