I've been to hickory a few times and i fished about 10.5 ft in most spots on the top lake and if i remember right you can fish deeper than that in the back of the bottom lake. 2 spots i really liked to fish were on the far side of the top lake next to the left aireator looking at bait shop. there are 2 nice holes the one out in middle one right aound the aireator. bottom lake you could fish just to the right of the bubble aireator look for the split fence post across the street. thats what i aimed for. good luck. get there early cuz you wont be able to fish otherwise. really popular lake.

I forgot. If you go there and arent catching fish ask around for rob he's the owner and a pretty nice guy. show him where your fishing and he will put you in the best spot possible in that area. Its his lake and he loves to see his fish caught.
