You can't go wrong with an Abu. I have 2 7000's and a 6600 c4 and a 6000 and they are all great. Never had a problem with any of them.

ive never had a problem with any of mine... i have 2 6500 c3s, 2 6500 cs rockets,6500 trophy collection, and two 5000's that my dad gave me that are over 20 years old and still work great.

I talked to an abu rep about the abu reels walmart sells.
He assured me they were the exact same reels you buy anywhere else.
Thye do have a different number on them
walmart 6500 is a 6500CL

yeah they are the same as every where else, i talk to a rep. at Bass Pro just this morning and he said that all and every real of Abu that is made no mtter where it is sold is the same. He said he had a couple other people ask about the reals as well, wal-mart k-mart and any other store that you bye any real is all made the same. no matter what the make is, abu, shakespear, zebco, ect.

i bought 2 new green rockets this year the handle nut was stripped out on one from the factory.... My buddy bought one today and he discovered the same problem... but overall I love them...

i absolutley love abu's.. i have a 2 7000's, & a 9000, they are big reals but if u get a good rod witha good whippy tip and a lot of backbone u can cast e'm a country mile!!
